The Constant Displacement Foam Fatigue is a floor standing instrument with four daylight
sample areas, two on the left and two on the right side of the machine.
The compression platens for samples measure 500mm x 500mm. The centre, top and
bottom plates are stationary, while the upper and below centre platens simultaneously
move up and down, adjusted to the percentage of compression required via an adjustable
cam.
Samples would be compressed between 4 compression areas for the relevant amount of
time set on a cycle counter. Holding the samples in place would be via double sided tape.
